Your tasks

The Senior DevOps Engineer will contribute to the infrastructure automation project, focusing on configuration management migration and the development of efficient automation solutions.

• Support the migration of infrastructure configuration management from Chef to Ansible.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Ansible playbooks and automation workflows.
• Use Python to support infrastructure automation and scripting tasks.
• Apply DevOps best practices to improve the reliability, consistency, and maintainability of infrastructure operations.
• Leverage AI-assisted coding tools and techniques to support Ansible development.
• Collaborate with relevant technical stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and deliver project objectives.

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings extensive DevOps experience and strong hands-on expertise in infrastructure automation, particularly with Ansible and Python.

• More than 10 years of professional work experience.
• Strong experience in DevOps engineering and infrastructure automation.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Ansible.
• Strong Python scripting and development skills.
• Experience with Chef is highly desirable.
• Previous experience migrating configuration management from Chef to Ansible is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding for Ansible development is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently and contribute effectively to a remote, contract-based project.
