Accountabilities: Lead strategic discussions with department and product leaders to identify emerging data needs, business challenges, and opportunities for new data capabilities or technology solutions.

Develop and manage data strategies aligned with departmental objectives, operational priorities, and broader organizational goals.

Manage the intake, prioritization, and assignment of new data and analytics requests, ensuring resources are focused on high-impact opportunities.

Synthesize complex data into actionable insights, recommendations, and clear narratives that support leadership decision-making.

Monitor departmental metrics and performance indicators, identify emerging trends, and work with leaders to determine appropriate intervention strategies.

Serve as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders and enterprise analytics, data science, data enablement, digital analytics, and market research teams.

Support the development of data visualization and reporting solutions by advising on business requirements, validating outputs, and providing technical and analytical expertise.

Collaborate with other senior data strategists to align approaches across business units and identify opportunities for holistic insights and process improvements.

Promote data literacy and competency by coaching business teams on effective use, interpretation, and application of data.

Develop deep knowledge of business operations, data structures, and technical nuances while mentoring colleagues and sharing best practices.

Build trusted relationships with business leaders, IT developers, analytics professionals, and other data partners.

Identify opportunities to improve analytical processes, data capabilities, and decision-making frameworks.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business analytics, project management, data-related disciplines, or a related field; equivalent combinations of relevant education and experience may be considered.

5+ years of experience in data consulting, data strategy, analytics project delivery, or a related discipline involving business operations and stakeholder recommendations.

Strong experience writing SQL queries and working with large datasets, databases, spreadsheets, and complex integrated systems.

Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools, with experience translating analytical findings into compelling data stories.

Familiarity with data governance, data quality management, strategic planning, and performance measurement practices.

Demonstrated experience managing diverse analytics projects and working collaboratively across multiple teams.

Experience working with product teams and using data to inform product strategy is strongly preferred.

Strong ability to translate complex technical and analytical information into practical, actionable business insights.

Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust, influence decisions, and operate effectively in a consultative environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities.

Self-directed and adaptable, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies, processes, and business requirements.

Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, and professional relationship-building skills.

Ability to promote constructive discussion, active participation, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making.

Experience with tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Salesforce is preferred.

Previous experience leading projects or teams is advantageous.

Healthcare or healthcare-provider experience is a plus.

Ability to travel to Minneapolis at least once per quarter for meetings.

Benefits:

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 annually.
