Senior AI Enabled Engineer

Your tasks

As a Senior AI Enabled Engineer, you will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, combining strong engineering fundamentals with AI-enabled workflows and collaborative client delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

• Full-Stack Development: Design, build, test, and maintain modern software applications across frontend and backend systems.
• Backend Engineering: Develop scalable services, RESTful APIs, and integrations that support reliable, high-performance applications.
• Frontend Development: Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using React, Next.js, or comparable frameworks.
• Software Quality and Architecture: Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in architecture discussions, technical design sessions, and code reviews.
• AI-Enabled Development: Use AI-assisted coding tools and modern developer workflows to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery efficiency.
• AI Integration: Implement AI-powered application features, LLM integrations, and automation workflows where they provide meaningful business value.
• Emerging Technology Evaluation: Explore technologies such as LangChain, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and related AI frameworks, applying sound engineering judgment when selecting tools.
• Agile Delivery: Collaborate with product managers and product owners to refine backlogs, clarify requirements, break down work into manageable tasks, and contribute to estimates and release planning.
• Team Collaboration: Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other activities that promote transparency and continuous improvement.
• Client Engagement: Work directly with client stakeholders, participate in technical discussions and demonstrations, and communicate implementation approaches, trade-offs, and risks.
• Continuous Improvement: Help teams adopt modern engineering practices and integrate AI capabilities into products and workflows in ways that remain practical, scalable, and maintainable.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer who combines full-stack development capabilities with strong technical judgment, collaborative communication, and an interest in applying AI to real-world engineering challenges. The following qualifications are required:

• At least 4 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, Full-Stack Engineer, Backend Engineer, or in a comparable role.
• Strong experience building backend services and APIs using Java, Python, Ruby, or similar programming languages.
• Experience developing modern frontend applications with React, Next.js, or comparable frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and scalable software architectures.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern software engineering workflows.
• Exposure to integrating AI capabilities or large language model APIs into software applications.
• Understanding and practical application of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and pair programming.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments, including Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in client-facing consulting engagements.
• Ability to balance delivery speed, software quality, maintainability, and business priorities.

The following experience would be an advantage

• Experience integrating AI-powered features and LLM APIs into production applications.
• Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar orchestration tools.
• Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and tool-integrated AI systems.
• Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures and vector databases.
• Experience designing event-driven systems or microservices architectures.
• Previous experience in consulting or professional services environments.
