Search Engine Evaluator
Accountabilities Evaluate search engine results to determine their relevance, accuracy, usefulness, and alignment with user search intent.
Conduct online research to assess the quality of search results and identify information that best answers everyday queries.
Review and evaluate digital content, including text, images, audio, and videos, according to project guidelines.
Apply your understanding of Tamil language, Indian culture, local trends, and popular culture to assess content in its regional context.
Analyze search results critically, considering contextual relevance, information quality, and the likely needs of users.
Provide structured feedback and ratings that help improve AI training data and search engine performance.
Follow project-specific instructions, evaluation criteria, and quality standards consistently across assigned tasks.
Maintain high levels of accuracy and meet established quality requirements and performance deadlines.
Manage your workload independently, organize your schedule, and complete assignments within agreed timeframes.
Protect confidential project information by signing and complying with the required non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
Complete the required training modules and pass the project qualification assessment before beginning evaluation work.
Requirements:
Must currently reside in India and have a strong understanding of Indian culture, current trends, and popular interests.
Proficiency in both Tamil and English, with the ability to understand search queries and evaluate content in the relevant linguistic and cultural context.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Strong online research skills and familiarity with search engines, websites, and common digital platforms.
Critical-thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to assess relevance, interpret information, and make consistent judgments.
Genuine curiosity about artificial intelligence, search technology, and how digital information is organized and presented.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining quality and accuracy.
Self-discipline, time-management skills, and the ability to work independently in a home-based environment with potential distractions.
Availability to commit to a minimum of 5 hours and a maximum of 20 hours per week.
Access to a personal computer and smartphone, along with a reliable internet connection.
Reliable antivirus software installed on your computer to support safe internet browsing.
Willingness to complete mandatory training modules and pass the required qualification test before starting assignments.
Agreement to sign and comply with the project NDA and all applicable confidentiality requirements.
Only one Search Quality Rater is permitted per household.
No previous professional experience is required, making this opportunity accessible to qualified beginners.
