SDR Director
Accountabilities: Define the vision, strategy, operating cadence, and performance expectations for the SDR function, aligning activities with growth priorities, target markets, and pipeline goals.
Lead, coach, and develop an SDR team of approximately eight people, establishing clear expectations around prospecting quality, qualification, pipeline contribution, productivity, and career development.
Build scalable processes for inbound follow-up, outbound prospecting, account prioritization, discovery, lead qualification, and handoff to sales.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Product teams to coordinate campaigns, target-account strategies, messaging, lead routing, and qualification criteria.
Establish performance dashboards and regular operating reviews covering activity levels, conversion rates, pipeline progression, handoff quality, productivity, and overall team performance.
Leverage Salesforce and sales intelligence and engagement platforms to monitor execution, improve data quality, identify coaching opportunities, and strengthen pipeline visibility.
Develop and reinforce prospecting messaging, objection-handling techniques, discovery frameworks, outreach cadences, and SDR best practices.
Own monthly and quarterly SDR performance outcomes, including lead generation, opportunities launched, pipeline contribution, and progression through qualified sales stages.
Recruit, onboard, retain, and develop SDR talent while ensuring team members have the product knowledge, skills, and confidence to engage prospects effectively.
Identify operational gaps and implement improvements that increase speed-to-lead, conversion, handoff quality, pipeline visibility, and SDR productivity.
Act as a functional leader and trusted cross-functional partner, communicating performance trends, risks, opportunities, and resource requirements to senior stakeholders.
Requirements:
Proven experience managing SDR, BDR, inside sales, or comparable sales development teams with a demonstrated record of generating measurable pipeline growth.
Strong expertise in sales development, outbound and inbound prospecting, lead qualification, pipeline generation, and sales handoff processes.
Demonstrated success coaching, developing, and retaining high-performing sales professionals.
Strong analytical capabilities, with experience using performance metrics, dashboards, and data-driven insights to improve team results.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Product organizations.
Strong leadership and executive presentation skills, with the ability to communicate strategy, performance, and recommendations clearly.
Experience working effectively in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
Proficiency with Salesforce and modern sales engagement and intelligence technologies.
Experience with healthcare, healthcare analytics, data, SaaS, or technology solutions is preferred.
Familiarity with platforms such as Gong, ZoomInfo, 6sense, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or comparable sales technologies is advantageous.
Experience scaling SDR organizations, improving conversion rates, strengthening pipeline quality, or increasing team productivity is highly valued.
Experience supporting account-based sales and marketing strategies and developing SDR playbooks, onboarding programs, or coaching frameworks is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
Ability to work effectively from a home office and travel approximately 3–4 times per year for team meetings and annual sales meetings, with additional travel potentially required for client engagements.

Base salary range: $131,560.66–$197,341.00 USD, with actual compensation determined by experience, qualifications, skills, and role-specific factors.
