Accountabilities: Manage an assigned customer portfolio and develop account plans that support volume, revenue, profitability, retention, and growth objectives.

Build and strengthen strategic customer relationships while identifying opportunities for share gain, new business, and innovation commercialization.

Develop and execute sales strategies and plans aligned with business priorities, customer needs, and market opportunities.

Lead commercial discussions, negotiations, pricing execution, and contract management while following established commercial policies.

Build and maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, sales forecasts, account information, and customer records using CRM and other commercial tools.

Identify and pursue new business development opportunities across assigned markets, customers, products, and geographies.

Apply value-selling and commercial strategies to demonstrate solutions and strengthen customer partnerships.

Monitor market trends, competitive activity, customer developments, and emerging opportunities, providing insights to support commercial decisions.

Collaborate with Marketing, Technical Service & Development, Product Management, Pricing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Channel Partners to achieve business objectives.

Coordinate the resolution of commercial, service, quality, supply, and pricing issues to maintain a high-quality customer experience.

Support market development initiatives and identify opportunities for portfolio expansion and sustainable growth.

Maintain compliance with commercial processes, internal policies, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Travel extensively when required to support customers, business development activities, and stakeholder engagement across multiple regions.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.

At least 5 years of experience in Sales, Technical Sales, Business Development, Account Management, Commercial, Marketing, or another customer-facing function.

Demonstrated ability to build long-term customer relationships and translate those relationships into measurable business growth.

Strong commercial acumen with experience in sales planning, execution, opportunity management, and business development.

Strong negotiation, influencing, presentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Experience managing customer accounts strategically, including developing account plans and identifying opportunities for growth and retention.

Strong understanding of pipeline management, forecasting, CRM discipline, and commercial analytics.

Ability to work effectively within a matrix organization and collaborate across multiple functions and stakeholder groups.

Experience with specialty chemicals, advanced materials, silicones, adhesives, sealants, elastomers, polymers, or related industries is preferred.

An MBA or other advanced business qualification is an advantage.

Strong customer relationship management and value-selling capabilities.

Ability to analyze market and business data and translate insights into actionable commercial strategies.

Strong organizational skills, commercial discipline, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Willingness and ability to travel extensively based on business requirements.

Ability to support customers across multiple regions, markets, and stakeholder groups.
