Accountabilities Research and compile risk exposure information to support insurance policy renewals and broader risk management activities.

Review, audit, and track incoming and outgoing Certificates of Insurance (COIs) to help ensure compliance with contractual and organizational requirements.

Maintain and update insurance policy databases, including coverage details, policy records, renewal dates, and related information.

Collect, organize, and validate insurance and risk management data from internal stakeholders.

Support the preparation, organization, retention, and management of insurance documentation and records.

Contribute to special projects and additional initiatives that support the effectiveness of the Risk Management & Insurance function.

Identify potential data gaps, process challenges, or inconsistencies and proactively recommend practical solutions.

Develop project timelines, provide progress updates, and present project outcomes as part of the broader internship experience.

Collaborate with peers, mentors, leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders while managing assigned responsibilities independently.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.

Demonstrated interest in risk management, insurance, compliance, finance, or related business functions.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Strong analytical, organizational, research, and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.

Self-starter who can work independently while also contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Willingness to learn, receive feedback, take initiative, and apply academic knowledge to real-world business challenges.
