Your tasks

• Architecturedesignanddevelopment:Developandmaintainorganization-widearchitectures,methodologies,andtechnicalframeworksforcomplexproducts,platforms,systems,software,andtechnologysolutionsacrossmultipleengineeringdisciplines.
• Technologyassessmentandintegration:Evaluateemergingtechnologies,innovativeengineeringapproaches,andexternaldevelopmentpartnershipstodeterminetheiralignmentwithtechnologyroadmapsandbusinessobjectives.
• Technicalstandardsanddesignreviews:Reviewengineeringdesignsandprojectactivitiestoensurecompliancewithestablisheddevelopmentguidelines,architecturalstandards,andtechnicalrequirements.Incorporaterecommendationsandinnovationsintobroaderarchitecturestrategies.
• Strategictechnicalleadership:Applydeepdomainexpertiseandbusinessunderstandingtoinfluencetechnicaldecisionsinvolvingseniorbusinessleaders,externaldevelopmentpartners,andindustrystandardsorganizations.
• Engineeringinnovation:Identifyopportunitiestointroducenewtechnologies,improvedesignmethodologies,reducecosts,acceleratetimetomarket,andaddressevolvingcustomerandbusinessneeds.
• Technicalanalysisandvalidation:Supporttheevaluationofengineeringspecifications,componentdesigns,modelingapproaches,andtestingmethodologiestovalidateproductdesignsandtechnicalperformance.
• Mentorshipandknowledgesharing:Providetechnicalguidanceandmentorshiptoless-experiencedengineers,encouragingdesignexcellence,innovation,andcontinuousprofessionaldevelopment.
• Cross-functionalcollaboration:Workacrossengineeringteamsandorganizationalfunctionstoalignarchitecturedecisions,coordinatetechnicalinitiatives,andensureconsistentimplementationofsolutions.

Requirements

• Education:Bachelor'sormaster'sdegreeinMechanicalEngineering,ElectricalEngineering,ComputerScience,anotherrelevantengineeringdiscipline,orequivalentpracticalexperience.
• Professionalexperience:Typically10ormoreyearsofrelevantengineeringexperience,withademonstratedrecordoftechnicalleadershipandcontributionstocomplexproductorsystemdevelopment.
• Architectureexpertise:Strongknowledgeofengineeringarchitecture,systemdesign,developmentmethodologies,andthetoolsandsoftwarepackagesusedtodesign,analyze,andvalidatecomplextechnicalsolutions.
• Technicalanalysis:Excellentanalyticalandproblem-solvingabilities,includingexperiencereviewingmaterialspecifications,hardwaredesigns,electricalcomponents,andtechnicalrequirements.
• Modelingandvalidation:Experienceevaluatingandselectingappropriateempiricalanalysis,modeling,andtestingmethodologiestovalidateengineeringdesignsandspecifications.
• Innovationandcontinuousimprovement:Aprovenabilitytointroducenewtechnologies,developinnovativeengineeringpractices,andimproveexistingdesignprocesses.

What we offer

• Competitive base salary: Annual salary ranging from $123,500 to $285,000 for this position in New Jersey, depending on geographic location, experience, education, training, and skills.
