Your tasks

• ReleaseLifecycleManagement:Managetheend-to-endSalesforcereleaselifecycle,coordinatingdeploymentsacrosstesting,staging,andproductionenvironments.
• CI/CDPipelineMonitoring:Monitordeploymentpipelines,identifyfailures,troubleshootissues,andcoordinatecorrectiveactionstomaintainreliabledelivery.
• DeploymentValidation:Validatedeploymentpackagesandensureallreleasestepsareexecutedcorrectly,consistently,andaccordingtoestablishedprocedures.
• VersionControlandBranchManagement:Managebranches,merges,mergeconflicts,andreleaseschedulestoensurealignmentbetweencodeversionsanddeploymentenvironments.
• ReleaseDocumentation:Maintainaccuratereleasenotes,technicaldocumentation,deploymentrecords,andtraceabilitythroughoutthereleaseprocess.
• ChangeManagementandGovernance:OpenandtrackRDMrequestsandsupportGMUDchangemanagementprocesses,ensuringcompliancewithgovernancerequirementsandconsistencyacrossenvironments.
• Cross-FunctionalCoordination:Actastheprimarypointofcontactbetweendevelopmentsquads,architecture,DevSecOps,infrastructure,andgovernanceteamstocoordinatereleasedependenciesandresolveblockers.
• ProcessAutomation:Automatereleasenotifications,improveworkflows,andimplementenhancementstoCI/CDprocessestoincreaseefficiencyandreducemanualeffort.
• QualityandStability:Promotesecuredeploymentpractices,minimizerelease-relatedrisks,andsupportcontinuousimprovementinreleasereliabilityandenvironmentstability.

Requirements

• SalesforceExpertise:PracticalexperiencewithSalesforcedevelopmentanddeploymentprocesses,includingApex,metadata,SalesforceDX(SFDX),anddeploymentsusingpackage.xml.
• GitandVersionControl:StrongknowledgeofGit,branchingstrategies,mergesquashpractices,conflictresolution,andcollaborativeversioncontrolworkflows.
• CI/CDExperience:Hands-onexperiencewithcontinuousintegrationandcontinuousdeliverypipelines,preferablyusingGitHubActions,includingtroubleshootingandpipelineoptimization.
• ReleaseandChangeManagement:Familiaritywithreleasegovernance,GMUD/RDMprocesses,andthemanagementofSalesforcesandboxandproductionenvironments.
• AutomationandCollaborationTools:KnowledgeofMicrosoftTeamsandprocessautomationtechniquestostreamlinecommunicationandreleasecoordination.
• AnalyticalProblem-Solving:Abilitytodiagnosedeploymentfailures,investigatetechnicalissues,assessrisks,andimplementeffectivesolutions.
• OrganizationandTimeManagement:Strongplanningskills,attentiontodetail,andtheabilitytomanagereleasecalendars,deadlines,andmultipledependencies.
• CommunicationandTeamwork:Clear,proactivecommunicationskillsandtheabilitytocoordinateandguidetechnicalteamsacrossdifferentfunctions.
• ContinuousImprovement:Aproactivemindsetfocusedonoptimizingdeliveryworkflows,strengtheninggovernance,andimprovingreleaseprocesses.

Nicetohave

• Salesforce certifications, such as Platform Developer or Salesforce Administrator.
• Previous experience as a Release Manager or DevOps professional in large-scale Salesforce environments.
• Familiarity with Shell scripting and automated deployment processes.
