Accountabilities Drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth across India while achieving individual new-business targets.

Identify, develop, and convert opportunities with OEMs, electronics manufacturing services (EMS) providers, converters, and industrial manufacturers.

Build strategic relationships with engineering, research and development, quality, procurement, and other key customer stakeholders.

Develop and maintain a qualified sales pipeline, ensuring consistent opportunity generation and effective progression through the sales cycle.

Lead commercial negotiations, manage pricing discussions, and close high-value business opportunities while protecting gross margins.

Manage and expand strategic key accounts, strengthening customer relationships and identifying opportunities for additional business.

Lead, coach, and develop a growing sales team through joint customer visits, field mentoring, performance discussions, and ongoing guidance.

Establish clear KPIs and targets for team members, conduct weekly pipeline and performance reviews, and address performance gaps proactively.

Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, pipeline data, and structured reporting for international management.

Develop and manage distributor and channel partner relationships where appropriate to expand market reach.

Collaborate with technical and operations teams to develop suitable solutions, coordinate customer requirements, and support technical qualification processes.

Monitor industry developments, competitor activities, customer needs, and emerging market opportunities to inform regional sales strategy.

Take ownership of regional commercial performance, including revenue, profitability, gross margins, and territory or office-level P&L.

Build the foundations for sustainable growth by opening new accounts, strengthening sales processes, and helping expand the regional sales organization.

Contribute to the long-term development of the India business through strategic planning, market expansion, and strong commercial execution.

Requirements:

8–15 years of experience in industrial B2B sales, with a demonstrated record of business development and key account growth.

Proven success in acquiring new customers and winning business, supported by specific examples of accounts secured, deal values, and sales timelines.

Experience managing a sales region, territory, or small sales team; experience leading at least two salespeople against targets for two years or more is particularly desirable.

Strong ability to influence decision-makers across industrial and manufacturing organizations, including technical, engineering, quality, and procurement stakeholders.

Demonstrated commercial acumen, including pricing strategy, gross margin management, contract negotiation, and high-value deal closing.

Experience managing medium- to long-cycle sales involving technical sampling, product trials, customer qualification, or PPAP processes.

Strong prospecting skills and a proactive, hunter-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and convert them into sustainable customer relationships.

Proven leadership and coaching capabilities, including setting performance expectations, reviewing KPIs, addressing underperformance, and conducting challenging performance conversations.

A results-driven approach, with comfort being measured against individual targets, pipeline development, revenue, and profitability.

Strong judgment and communication skills, including the ability to manage customer expectations, defend pricing, communicate difficult messages, and prioritize sustainable commercial outcomes.

Fluency in business English; knowledge of Hindi is required or expected for the role, while Marathi, Tamil, or Kannada is an advantage.

Familiarity with CRM systems, sales forecasting, structured reporting, and collaboration with international management teams.

Ability to work independently in a growing, entrepreneurial environment and maintain a strong field presence through regular customer engagement.

Preferred industry experience in industrial adhesives, liquid adhesives and sealants, technical adhesive tapes, engineered materials, specialty chemicals, electronic materials, die-cutting and converting solutions, industrial automation components, electrical insulation products, or industrial manufacturing solutions.

Particularly relevant customer-sector experience includes electronics manufacturing, semiconductor and EMS companies, automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers, electrical equipment manufacturers, power electronics, electric vehicles, battery manufacturing, industrial OEMs, and advanced manufacturing.

International customer experience or exposure to markets outside India is an advantage.
