Regional Manager, Clinical Excellence - West
Accountabilities Lead and develop Clinical Excellence Managers across the Western region, providing coaching, feedback, career development, and performance guidance.
Partner with capital sales teams to support new opportunities, account expansion, footprint growth, customer education, implementation, adoption, and customer success.
Establish and maintain strong customer relationships while supporting customer business reviews, escalations, clinical and operational planning, and resolution of account challenges.
Provide customers, partners, and internal teams with education, product-related information, implementation support, documentation, and general best-practice guidance without making clinical or operational decisions on their behalf.
Develop and implement clinical strategies that support broader utilization of medical device solutions and expansion opportunities.
Lead the team through problem-account transitions and drive customer refresh strategies to strengthen satisfaction and long-term engagement.
Partner with Marketing, Clinical, Service, Commercial, Sales Effectiveness, and other stakeholders to align execution with strategic priorities.
Support the development of policies, procedures, training programs, and operational processes designed to promote high-quality patient care and effective product adoption.
Monitor team priorities, performance metrics, and outcomes while communicating progress, successes, risks, and opportunities to relevant stakeholders.
Manage relationships with healthcare providers, professional organizations, regulatory stakeholders, and external vendors.
Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations, quality requirements, and organizational standards.
Support vendor performance and timely execution of strategic programs.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, team capabilities, customer experience, and operational effectiveness.
Use data and analytics to identify trends, develop action plans, and support business and financial planning.
Foster a collaborative, accountable, and continuously improving team culture.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential.
At least 2 years of nursing leadership experience within a healthcare or medical device environment.
Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements, regulations, standards, and health system accreditation processes.
Demonstrated experience developing business plans and financial models.
Strong process and quality improvement experience, with the ability to translate data and analytics into actionable plans.
Experience leading teams, developing talent, and influencing stakeholders across functions and organizational levels.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with customer personnel.
Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, prioritization, business acumen, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy, collaborative, and cross-functional environment.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, multitasking ability, and a demonstrated sense of urgency.
Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability for goals, initiatives, and outcomes.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Willingness to travel extensively, up to 75%, throughout the Western U.S.; candidates should have convenient access to a major airport.
A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Master of Business Administration (MBA), or Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) is preferred.
Experience in the medical device industry or with dialysis and other relevant medical technologies is preferred.
Advanced nursing or related professional certifications are a plus, including CNE, NEA-BC, CPHQ, CNL, CMSRN, or CCRN.
Benefits
National salary range: $130,500–$176,400 USD.
San Francisco Bay Area salary range: $145,000–$196,000 USD for employees whose primary work location is within the designated Bay Area market.
Salary is determined based on primary work location and other relevant factors.
