Regional Manager, Clinical Excellence (Midwest)
Accountabilities Lead, coach, and develop Clinical Excellence Managers across the Midwest region, supporting performance, career development, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Partner with sales teams on new opportunities, account expansion, customer education, implementation, adoption, utilization, and long-term customer success.
Support customer business reviews and ensure teams maintain strong, professional relationships with healthcare providers, partners, and other stakeholders.
Provide education, implementation support, product-related guidance, documentation, and general best-practice recommendations while maintaining appropriate boundaries around customer clinical and operational decision-making.
Develop and implement regional clinical strategies that support device utilization, new installations, program expansion, and customer retention.
Lead efforts to transition and stabilize challenging accounts, including customer escalations and improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with marketing, clinical, service, commercial, and sales-effectiveness teams to align programs, training, and customer initiatives with strategic priorities.
Support the creation and implementation of policies, procedures, training programs, and quality-improvement initiatives that promote high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.
Manage relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, professional organizations, regulatory bodies, and external vendors.
Contribute to business planning, clinical and operational planning, financial action plans, and regional strategies.
Track and communicate team priorities, performance metrics, accomplishments, and areas requiring attention.
Translate data, analytics, customer feedback, and operational insights into practical action plans and measurable improvements.
Promote collaboration across functions and maintain alignment around strategic priorities, customer needs, and execution timelines.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) qualification.
At least 2 years of nursing leadership experience in a healthcare or medical device environment.
Strong understanding of healthcare compliance regulations, standards, and health-system accreditation processes.
Demonstrated experience with process improvement, quality improvement, and translating data and analytics into actionable strategies.
Experience developing business plans and financial models or contributing to financially informed business planning.
Strong leadership, communication, relationship-building, decision-making, prioritization, and talent-development skills.
Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across sales, marketing, clinical, service, commercial, and other cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail and a practical, solutions-oriented approach.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, maintain urgency, and drive initiatives through completion.
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with customer personnel and internal stakeholders.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively, up to 75%, throughout the assigned Midwest territory.
A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Master of Business Administration (MBA), or Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) is preferred.
Experience in the medical device industry or with relevant medical technologies, particularly dialysis, is preferred.
Advanced nursing or healthcare certifications are advantageous, including CNE, NEA-BC, CPHQ, CNL, CMSRN, or CCRN.
Benefits
National salary range of $130,500–$176,400 USD , depending on primary work location, qualifications, and experience.
San Francisco Bay Area salary range of $145,000–$196,000 USD for employees whose primary work location falls within that market.
