Accountabilities Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing regional team of commercial field professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, compliance, and continuous growth.

Develop and execute regional business plans that support product launches, commercial expansion, and achievement of sales and performance objectives.

Drive launch readiness and post-launch execution through effective customer engagement, strategic account planning, and field excellence.

Conduct regular field coaching, performance evaluations, and development planning to strengthen team capabilities and execution.

Build and maintain strategic relationships with healthcare providers, Centers of Excellence, integrated health systems, advocacy organizations, and other key stakeholders involved in rare neurological care.

Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and other cross-functional partners to improve patient access and business outcomes.

Analyze market trends, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and business performance data to guide regional strategy and resource allocation.

Manage regional budgets, meetings, training initiatives, and commercial activities while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.

Champion a patient-first mindset while supporting organizational change, innovation, and operational excellence throughout the region.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, specialty, or rare disease commercial organizations.

Proven experience in rare disease commercial leadership; experience in rare neurology is strongly preferred.

Demonstrated success launching and commercializing highly specialized therapies, including advanced treatment modalities such as gene therapy or ASO therapies, is an advantage.

Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to recruit, coach, motivate, and retain high-performing teams.

Deep understanding of rare disease patient journeys, diagnosis pathways, reimbursement processes, market access, and site-of-care considerations.

Experience working with academic medical centers, infusion networks, multidisciplinary care teams, and complex healthcare systems is highly desirable.

Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data into strategic action plans and measurable business results.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

High ethical standards, adaptability, and willingness to travel approximately 60–70%, including overnight travel.
