Provider Success Lead, Physical Therapy
Your tasks
The Provider Success Lead will oversee physical therapist onboarding, clinical mentorship, and ongoing education while developing scalable resources that improve provider independence and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include:
- Clinical mentorship: Support physical therapists caring for medically complex pulmonary patients, provide guidance on challenging cases, and help clinicians make informed decisions regarding symptom response, oxygen requirements, and treatment progression. Escalate complex issues to the Head of Clinical when appropriate.
- Clinical education and training: Lead the development and maintenance of clinical education content through BreatheSuite University, ensuring all materials reflect current evidence, clinical best practices, and platform capabilities.
- Training content production: Research relevant clinical topics and create engaging learning modules using video, audio, AI tools, and other content-creation resources as appropriate.
- Learning platform administration: Manage training assignments, monitor completion, and ensure all providers remain current with required compliance training.
- New provider onboarding: Guide newly hired physical therapists through onboarding, coordinating with credentialing, product and engineering, and operations teams to complete licensing requirements, platform access, training modules, and other prerequisites.
- First-patient readiness: Conduct individual preparation sessions with new therapists before their first patient appointment, address questions, and resolve gaps in workflow or platform knowledge.
- Ongoing provider support: Serve as a primary contact for new and established physical therapists through scheduled one-on-one sessions and a shared provider support Slack channel. Respond to clinical, documentation, workflow, and platform questions, escalating issues when necessary.
- Self-service resource development: Turn recurring provider questions and identified knowledge gaps into searchable educational resources that enable clinicians to find answers independently.
- Content and process updates: Keep training materials aligned with software and platform changes so providers consistently learn the latest workflows and requirements.
- Provider capacity planning: Monitor clinician availability against patient demand and recommend hiring needs to the Head of Clinical before capacity constraints affect service delivery.
- Continuous improvement and scalability: Collaborate with the development team to improve how resources are organized and accessed. Track recurring questions, support needs, and the time required for new providers to reach their first patient, using these insights to streamline onboarding and reduce ongoing support requirements.
