Procurement Supervisor

Accountabilities: Supervise procurement specialists and officers, providing guidance and ensuring procurement activities are completed efficiently and in line with established procedures.

Review and approve RFQs, RFPs, supplier quotations, evaluations, and other procurement documentation.

Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and other commercial conditions with suppliers to achieve competitive outcomes.

Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies, approval requirements, delegation of authority, and applicable regulations.

Monitor supplier performance against agreed expectations and develop productive, strategic supplier relationships.

Manage procurement budgets and identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality and service levels.

Develop and support cost-saving initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Maintain accurate procurement documentation and provide support during internal and external audits.

Prepare procurement reports, performance indicators, and KPIs for management review and decision-making.

Monitor procurement activities and identify potential risks, inefficiencies, or opportunities for operational improvement.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, or a related field.

Proven professional experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain operations.

Previous experience supervising or coordinating procurement professionals is preferred.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate procurement data, supplier proposals, pricing, and commercial terms.

Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.

In-depth understanding of procurement processes, sourcing practices, and relevant international trade regulations.

Proficiency with procurement software and digital purchasing tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and management.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when handling procurement documentation and compliance requirements.

Ability to prioritize effectively and perform well in a fast-paced environment.

Fluency in English is required.

Familiarity with Saudi Arabian business practices is an advantage.

Proactive, commercially minded, and capable of making sound decisions while balancing cost, quality, compliance, and operational requirements.
