Mid level/Senior Cloud Application
Accountabilities: Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient microservices using Go and Python.
Build and maintain cloud-based solutions on AWS, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
Design and implement messaging solutions using AWS services to enable effective communication between distributed services.
Integrate and manage APIs to facilitate efficient and reliable data exchange between systems.
Containerize applications to support efficient deployment, portability, and consistency across different environments.
Work with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS to orchestrate and manage containerized applications.
Contribute to cloud architecture and engineering practices that improve application delivery and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with project requirements and business needs.
Apply platform engineering principles where relevant to support scalable and sustainable cloud application environments.
Requirements:
Solid professional experience and practical expertise in Go (Golang).
Experience developing backend applications and microservices using Go and Python.
Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) for container orchestration.
Strong understanding of AWS cloud services, particularly SQS, SNS, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and API Gateway.
Experience working with messaging systems and distributed application architectures.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and system-to-system integration.
Experience with application containerization and modern cloud deployment practices.
Ability to work effectively in collaborative, cross-functional environments.
Strong problem-solving skills, technical ownership, and an interest in building scalable and reliable cloud solutions.
Knowledge of Platform Engineering is desirable, particularly experience building and maintaining platforms that support cloud-based applications.
