Marketing Manager – Patient & Growth Marketing, Vectibix
Accountabilities: Lead the management and optimization of key patient-facing promotional and educational resources, including multiple patient websites, working with internal stakeholders and agency partners to ensure content remains relevant, high quality, compliant, and aligned with brand strategy.
Lead physician-focused peer-to-peer learning initiatives and speaker programs, including oversight of execution vendors and speaker relationships, while supporting speaker training and ensuring compliant, high-quality program delivery.
Plan and execute colorectal cancer congress engagement across national, local, and advanced practice provider conferences, serving as the designated responsible agency executive where applicable and coordinating closely with Marketing, Sales, Medical, and other cross-functional teams.
Manage the brand marketing budget, including forecasting, purchase orders, agency oversight, budget tracking, and effective resource allocation across key initiatives.
Champion commercial experimentation by evaluating marketing performance and customer insights, documenting learnings, identifying optimization opportunities, and helping translate successful experiments into scalable best practices.
Serve as the experimentation lead for a prioritized pilot exploring how customer personality profiles can support field pre-call planning and strengthen customer engagement.
Lead commercial strategy for priority customer segments, including advanced practice providers and other strategic stakeholders, translating customer insights and business needs into actionable recommendations that support brand growth.
Contribute to brand strategy, annual planning, ongoing priorities, and tactical execution across relevant oncology brands, while establishing strong relationships with agencies and holding external partners accountable for quality, budgets, and timelines.
Identify and apply emerging technologies, AI-enabled capabilities, automation, and innovative ways of working to improve marketing effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Build strong cross-functional relationships and contribute to a collaborative, engaging, high-performing environment while maintaining high standards of integrity, compliance, and executional excellence.
Requirements:
A Doctorate degree, or a Master’s degree with at least 2 years of marketing experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of marketing experience, or an Associate’s degree with at least 8 years of marketing experience, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 10 years of marketing experience.
Pharmaceutical or biotechnology commercial marketing experience is preferred, particularly experience developing and executing patient or healthcare professional promotional initiatives.
Experience leading peer-to-peer programs, congress initiatives, or other customer-facing marketing programs is highly valued.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives within a highly matrixed organization, coordinating effectively across internal functions, field teams, customers, and external agencies.
Strong project and budget management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and workstreams while maintaining high-quality execution.
Experience partnering with Sales, Medical Affairs, Legal, Regulatory, Commercial Data & Analytics, and external agency partners, with familiarity with promotional review processes and systems.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate customer insights, business performance, and market dynamics into actionable marketing recommendations.
Learning agility, intellectual curiosity, and enthusiasm for applying AI, automation, emerging technologies, and new commercial capabilities to improve marketing effectiveness.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail, accountability, and executional quality.
