Insurance Representative Personal Lines (Inside Sales)
Accountabilities: Sell personal lines insurance products from multiple carriers to prospective and existing clients through inbound and outbound telephone interactions, as well as email and other communication channels.
Explain insurance coverage clearly and make appropriate recommendations based on client needs and circumstances.
Prepare, calculate, and present insurance quotes while accurately completing and processing applications.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of carrier guidelines, insurance products, coverage options, and effective sales techniques.
Follow up on pending, incomplete, or outstanding policy transactions to support timely completion and strong customer experiences.
Contribute to business retention by maintaining productive client relationships and identifying opportunities to meet evolving insurance needs.
Share feedback and market observations with management to help identify opportunities to improve sales processes and performance.
Consistently work toward established sales targets and quality-of-business objectives.
Requirements:
At least 2 years of sales experience within the insurance industry, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Demonstrated experience in insurance sales, preferably within personal lines.
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License is required.
Intermediate computer proficiency, including experience with spreadsheet and word-processing applications.
Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain insurance concepts and coverage options clearly.
Consultative sales approach with the ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
Strong organization and follow-up skills, particularly when managing multiple quotes, applications, and pending transactions.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
