Head of Delivery
Accountabilities Lead delivery activities across product development initiatives, ensuring priorities, timelines, dependencies, and expected outcomes remain clearly defined.
Establish and continuously improve delivery processes, frameworks, reporting mechanisms, and operating practices.
Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into actionable delivery plans.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and drive timely resolution of delivery blockers.
Create clear visibility into delivery status, capacity, priorities, risks, and key milestones for relevant stakeholders.
Promote effective collaboration and communication across distributed, cross-functional teams.
Support teams in adopting predictable, scalable, and outcome-focused delivery practices.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, planning, and execution across the product development lifecycle.
Provide leadership, guidance, and accountability while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Contribute to broader product and organizational planning by providing delivery insights and recommendations.
Requirements
Significant experience in delivery leadership, product development, technology operations, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience managing complex technology or product delivery across multiple teams or workstreams.
Strong understanding of software/product development lifecycles, project planning, dependencies, risk management, and delivery governance.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional and distributed teams in a remote environment.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and changing requirements.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, particularly when addressing delivery risks and operational challenges.
Experience establishing or improving delivery frameworks, processes, metrics, and reporting structures.
Strong leadership and people-management capabilities, including coaching, mentoring, and fostering accountability.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced technology environment with ambiguity and evolving business priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A continuous-improvement mindset and a strong focus on delivery quality, predictability, and business outcomes.
