Director, Service/Product Offer Management
Accountabilities Lead the development and execution of product and service strategies, plans, and roadmaps across an assigned portfolio.
Define target market segments and identify whitespace opportunities, emerging customer needs, and areas for portfolio expansion.
Monitor market, client, competitive, and technology trends to inform business strategy and portfolio decisions.
Promote product and service offerings internally and externally while ensuring strong alignment with business and customer priorities.
Lead the Service Offer Management function, securing appropriate resources and ensuring effective team performance, development, and coaching.
Translate overall product strategies into actionable plans for business divisions and relevant stakeholders.
Assess the feasibility of new concepts and oversee the definition and development of product specifications.
Establish product pricing models and contribute to decisions around promotional approaches, sales strategies, and distribution channels.
Lead product and service development activities, ensuring offerings meet quality, commercial, and customer satisfaction expectations.
Oversee end-to-end product and service plans, including launches, modifications, optimization initiatives, and portfolio terminations.
Develop and deliver product training and communications for client-facing teams and internal stakeholders.
Ensure product and service portfolios remain aligned with current and anticipated market opportunities.
Requirements:
Significant experience in a comparable senior product or service management leadership position, preferably within a global technology services organization.
Extensive experience in the technology industry, with a strong understanding of market segments, product portfolio categories, and technology solutions.
Proven track record of managing the implementation and launch of new products or product lines.
Strong knowledge of product lifecycles, product management disciplines, methodologies, and supporting tools.
Demonstrated financial awareness and commercial acumen, with the ability to connect product decisions to business outcomes.
Strong strategic thinking, critical analysis, problem-solving, and solution formulation capabilities.
Excellent presentation, public speaking, written, and verbal communication skills.
Significant people management experience, including the ability to coach, develop, and motivate teams.
Understanding of organizational transformation and change programs, with the ability to operate effectively in evolving environments.
Strong technical awareness and understanding of the functionality and capabilities of products within relevant technology areas.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Certifications such as Scaled Agile or ITIL are beneficial.
