Digital Content & Experience Specialist
Accountabilities: Digital experience management: Manage, develop, update, and maintain careers website content, ensuring information remains accurate, engaging, accessible, and aligned with the employer brand and Employee Value Proposition.
Candidate journey optimisation: Continuously improve the digital candidate journey across careers pages, recruitment websites, landing pages, and other relevant digital touchpoints.
Website enhancements: Work closely with website developers, IT teams, and external suppliers to troubleshoot technical issues, implement improvements, and introduce new digital features.
Website functionality and accessibility: Identify opportunities to enhance navigation, content architecture, functionality, accessibility, and the overall user experience across careers-related digital platforms.
Employer brand campaigns: Support the activation of employer-brand and recruitment marketing campaigns across digital channels, ensuring a consistent message, visual identity, and candidate experience.
Landing pages: Create and manage campaign landing pages tailored to specific talent audiences, locations, functions, and recruitment priorities.
Recruitment collaboration: Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR stakeholders to understand hiring priorities and develop digital solutions that effectively support recruitment objectives.
Content activation: Coordinate and support content across careers websites, social media, job platforms, and other employer-brand channels.
SEO optimisation: Improve the organic visibility of careers content through keyword research, metadata optimisation, content structure improvements, and ongoing SEO best practices.
Search and content insights: Monitor search trends, candidate behaviour, and organic performance to identify opportunities for content development and optimisation.
Analytics and reporting: Monitor, analyse, and report on website and recruitment campaign performance, including traffic, engagement, acquisition sources, landing-page performance, conversion rates, and overall campaign effectiveness.
Performance measurement: Establish appropriate tracking and measurement for new campaigns and digital experiences, using data to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Data-driven recommendations: Translate digital analytics into actionable recommendations that improve the candidate journey, recruitment outcomes, and campaign return on investment.
Competitive benchmarking: Assess careers websites and digital employer-brand experiences against competitors and leading organisations to identify relevant opportunities and best practices.
Requirements
Relevant experience: Professional experience in digital content creation and maintenance, employer branding, recruitment marketing, content management, or a related field.
CMS expertise: Strong experience managing and updating websites through Content Management Systems (CMS).
SEO knowledge: Working knowledge of SEO, including keyword research, content optimisation, metadata, organic search performance, and search trends.
Digital campaign experience: Experience supporting or delivering digital and recruitment marketing campaigns, including the development and optimisation of campaign landing pages.
Analytics expertise: Strong understanding of web analytics and performance measurement, with the ability to monitor, track, analyse, and report on website and campaign performance.
UX understanding: Knowledge of user experience and candidate journey principles, with the ability to evaluate digital experiences from the user's perspective.
Stakeholder management: Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating with website developers, IT teams, agencies, and other technical partners.
Technical troubleshooting: Ability to work with technical and external partners to investigate issues, coordinate solutions, and deliver website and digital enhancements.
Analytics platforms: Experience with Google Analytics/GA4 or equivalent web analytics platforms would be advantageous.
SEO tools: Familiarity with Google Search Console and other SEO tools would be beneficial.
Tracking and tagging: Knowledge of tag management, campaign tracking, and UTM conventions is an advantage.
Web development awareness: A basic understanding of HTML and CSS would be beneficial.
Digital best practices: Knowledge of UX, accessibility, web-content standards, landing-page optimisation, and conversion principles is desirable.
Reporting and optimisation: Experience with dashboarding and reporting tools such as Power BI, as well as A/B testing and conversion optimisation, would be advantageous.
Additional digital capabilities: Familiarity with careers website platforms, social media, and recruitment marketing platforms would be a plus.
Collaboration: Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
