Data Visualization Analyst

Accountabilities: Design efficient, impactful reports and data visualizations for both business and technical audiences.

Transform complex and large datasets into information that is accessible, understandable, and useful to stakeholders.

Transform, improve, integrate, and prepare data according to business and reporting requirements.

Perform data federation activities to support the availability and usability of information across reporting environments.

Develop and maintain clear instruction manuals for reports and dashboards.

Ensure dashboards and reports contain accurate and updated information through close collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Deliver data and insights in a clear, useful, and visually appealing format.

Work collaboratively with business insights, data engineering, operations, support groups, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and maintain reporting quality.

Requirements

Proven hands-on experience with Power BI or foundational Power BI applications such as Power Pivot.

Equivalent experience with Tableau, QlikView, Business Objects, or similar data visualization platforms may be considered.

Exposure to ETL processes, databases, and data warehouses relevant to developing reports and dashboards.

Ability to work effectively with large amounts of information while maintaining an understanding of the broader business context.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to identify meaningful patterns and insights.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong ability to contribute proactively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Strong mathematical skills are preferred but optional.
