Clinical Manager
Accountabilities: Clinical Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate Nurse Practitioners and other clinical team members while fostering a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing work environment. Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, workload distribution, and resolution of team concerns or conflicts.
Clinical Oversight: Monitor and support clinical decision-making to promote high standards of patient care and evidence-based practice. Provide direct patient care when needed to maintain clinical expertise and support staffing requirements.
Clinical Documentation: Serve as a clinical resource for team members and oversee documentation practices to ensure records are accurate, timely, complete, and compliant with applicable EHR requirements.
Operational Management: Partner with leadership to establish clinical goals, policies, procedures, workflows, and resource plans. Identify operational bottlenecks and implement improvements that increase efficiency and support effective clinical service delivery.
Performance and Quality: Monitor key clinical and operational metrics, including patient outcomes and satisfaction measures, and develop improvement strategies based on performance data. Lead quality initiatives such as peer reviews, chart audits, and patient safety protocols.
Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Ensure clinical operations comply with applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including HIPAA, OSHA, professional licensure standards, and other relevant healthcare regulations.
Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with medical and administrative leadership to align clinical operations with organizational objectives. Serve as a liaison between clinical staff and management, communicating policies, updates, feedback, and operational priorities effectively.
Accreditation and Growth: Support accreditation or certification processes when applicable and participate in strategic initiatives designed to enhance service delivery, expand patient access, and strengthen the overall clinical operation.
Requirements:
Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) is required, with an advanced nursing credential and clinical background appropriate for the role.
Clinical Experience: 5+ years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with demonstrated expertise in patient care and clinical decision-making.
Leadership Experience: 2+ years of people management or clinical leadership experience, including responsibility for supervising, mentoring, evaluating, and developing clinical professionals.
Functional Medicine: Professional experience in Functional Medicine is required , with the ability to apply relevant clinical approaches within patient-centered care.
Telemedicine: At least 1 year of telemedicine experience, including familiarity with delivering care and collaborating with clinical teams in a virtual environment.
Clinical Systems: Proficiency with EHR platforms and clinical management software, along with strong understanding of documentation, workflow, and clinical compliance requirements.
Leadership and Communication: Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively with clinicians, leadership, and administrative partners.
Preferred Credentials: Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), relevant specialty certifications such as FNP, AGNP, or PNP, and active NP licensure in Texas, California, and/or Florida are preferred.
Additional Experience: Project management experience is an advantage, particularly in environments involving clinical operations, workflow improvement, or organizational initiatives.
Remote Work Readiness: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a professional home-office environment, participate in video meetings with camera on, and maintain reliable high-speed internet and a distraction-free setting.
