Blockchain Engineer - Binance Wallet

Accountabilities Design, develop, maintain, and optimize backend systems supporting Web3 wallet and blockchain-related products.

Build services for on-chain data acquisition, parsing, indexing, processing, and analysis.

Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

Work with blockchain engineers and cross-functional teams to integrate new blockchain technologies and on-chain capabilities.

Develop and support functionality involving blockchain interactions, transaction flows, smart contracts, and decentralized applications.

Investigate and resolve technical issues affecting product functionality, blockchain interactions, system reliability, and performance.

Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Continuously improve existing services, backend architecture, reliability, and engineering practices.

Participate in on-call rotations and respond to critical incidents affecting owned systems.

Contribute to technical initiatives involving emerging Web3 and AI technologies where relevant.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

At least 3 years of professional backend software development experience.

Hands-on experience in Web3, blockchain, cryptocurrency wallet, or related decentralized technology development.

Practical understanding of on-chain interactions, blockchain data structures, transaction flows, and smart contract integration.

Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals and major public-chain architectures, including Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Experience developing scalable backend services and working through the complete software development lifecycle.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with Java and related backend frameworks is an advantage.

AI engineering experience is a strong plus, particularly with LLM applications, model optimization, or agent workflow integration.

Ability to work independently, take ownership of technical challenges, and participate in on-call support when required.
