Accountabilities: As an Associate Director IT, you will oversee infrastructure, security, and service desk operations while ensuring technology services deliver measurable value to the organization. You will combine technical leadership, team development, and strategic planning to maintain reliable, secure, and scalable IT environments.

Lead infrastructure operations across networks, databases, cloud services, telecommunications, and hybrid technology environments, including upgrades, provisioning, monitoring, availability, and security initiatives.

Manage, mentor, and develop infrastructure, security, and Service Desk teams by establishing priorities, setting performance expectations, and fostering continuous improvement.

Ensure IT architecture, hardware, core systems, and support services enable employee productivity, operational resilience, and business growth.

Partner with business stakeholders and IT leadership to deliver infrastructure and security solutions aligned with global technology strategies and standards.

Oversee service delivery across multiple regions, including end-user support, technology training, cross-functional collaboration, and service improvement initiatives.

Support IT budgeting, asset management, reporting, metrics, compliance processes, and operational standards that enhance reliability and security.

Drive quality validation processes to ensure systems and IT practices align with established quality frameworks and approved standards.

Provide leadership during critical technology initiatives and support after-hours system availability when required.

Travel occasionally to support business priorities and team collaboration (approximately 1–2 weeks per year).

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced IT leader with a strong background in infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and enterprise technology operations. You should be comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution while building collaborative, high-performing teams.

10+ years of experience in computer information systems, IT infrastructure, or related technology leadership roles.

Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, cloud services, databases, telecommunications, and hybrid environments.

Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing technical teams while managing priorities and delivering results.

Strong project management skills with the ability to anticipate challenges, coordinate resources, and execute initiatives effectively.

Ability to connect technology strategies with business objectives and deliver solutions that improve operational performance.

Experience managing service delivery, technical support operations, and enterprise technology environments.

Knowledge of quality validation processes, compliance requirements, and structured IT governance practices is highly valued.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, with preference for candidates located in Massachusetts or the northeastern United States.

Benefits:

Competitive annual salary range of $175,000–$190,000 , depending on qualifications, experience, education, certifications, and location.
