Appian Solution Architect
Accountabilities: Lead the strategy, architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise applications using the Appian platform, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business and technical objectives.
Provide technical leadership across Appian development, enterprise application integration, automation, modernization, and broader enterprise application initiatives.
Design scalable application and data architectures for cloud-based and hybrid environments, leveraging technologies such as AWS, Snowflake, DynamoDB, and Big Data platforms.
Develop and implement integration frameworks, automation solutions, and modernization strategies that improve application capabilities and support evolving enterprise needs.
Partner with technical and business stakeholders to translate functional and technical requirements into secure, scalable, and effective architectural solutions.
Guide DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure-as-code initiatives, helping establish consistent and efficient delivery practices.
Support cloud governance and ensure architectural solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security, and technology standards.
Lead and mentor technical teams, providing guidance on architecture, development, integration, modernization, and Appian platform best practices.
Requirements:
10+ years of professional experience in the healthcare domain, with strong familiarity with healthcare technology environments and enterprise application needs.
Extensive hands-on experience with the Appian platform, including application architecture and development, as well as enterprise integration and automation.
Strong experience with Snowflake, AWS, DynamoDB, Big Data technologies, and scalable data architecture.
Proven ability to design and implement cloud-based and hybrid-cloud solutions using modern application architecture patterns.
Significant experience with enterprise integrations, application modernization strategies, and large-scale application development initiatives.
Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and providing architectural direction across complex enterprise technology programs.
Strong background implementing DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
Knowledge of cloud governance and enterprise architecture principles, with the ability to align technical solutions with security and organizational standards.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may also be considered.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate professionally and effectively with diverse technical and business stakeholders.

Expected base compensation of $80–$100 per hour , depending on relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and applicable certifications or licensure.
