Location: Remote Salary: ₦200,000 monthly Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Compliance Officer to support compliance activities, monitor adherence to applicable regulations and internal policies, and help identify and manage potential compliance risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Previous experience in compliance, risk management, audit, regulatory affairs, or a related function.
• Experience in FinTech, banking, payments, financial services, or another regulated industry is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance procedures, and internal controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good documentation and report-writing abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and internal procedures.
• Identify, document, and escalate potential compliance risks.
• Assist with compliance reviews, audits, and regulatory documentation.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and reports.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of internal compliance policies.
• Keep up to date with relevant regulatory and industry developments.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to address compliance issues and improve processes.
