About This Role

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Facility Management

  • Oversee the maintenance, safety, and operational readiness of Head Office and branches.
  • Develop preventive maintenance programs for buildings, generators, and other critical infrastructure.
  • Ensure all branches and premises meet regulatory standards, health and safety codes, and fire safety requirements.
  • Lead facility fit-outs, branch relocations, branding, and new branch location setup in line with expansion plans.

Administration

  • Direct fleet management, staff transportation/logistics, and travel administration.
  • Oversee procurement and inventory of administrative and office consumables Bank-wide.
  • Manage lease negotiations, renewals, and statutory documentation ( tenancy agreements, permits) for owned and leased properties.
  • Administer insurance coverage for the Bank's physical assets, in liaison with Risk Management.
  • Maintain the Bank's fixed asset register for premises and facility-related assets.

Vendor & Budget Management

  • Manage service contracts with facility vendors, ensuring SLAs are met and costs remain within approved thresholds.
  • Prepare and control the annual admin/facilities budget; drive cost optimization initiatives Bank-wide.
  • Lead vendor due diligence and accreditation in line with the Bank's procurement and vendor risk policies.

Compliance, Risk & Business Continuity

  • Ensure facility operations comply with regulatory frameworks.
  • Support the Bank's Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework.
  • Ensure environmental hazards and risks are identified and appropriate actions are taken to eliminate, prevent or manage risks to acceptable levels.
  • Liaise with internal/external auditors and regulators on facility-related audits and examinations.

Leadership

  • Lead and develop the Admin/Facilities team across Head Office and regions/branches.
  • Lead and manage security unit across Head Office and regions/branches.
  • Provide periodic reports to Executive Management/Board on facility performance, capex, and risk exposure.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Estate Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Familiarity with related regulatory and compliance requirements in QHSE and Facility Management.
  • Relevant professional/ technical qualification will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in administration/facility management, with at least 4 years in banking or financial services.
  • Demonstrable experience managing multi-branch facilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing & implementing policies and procedures.
