Crewing Officer

About This Role Mariteam Nigeria Limited is seeking a detail-oriented Crewing Officer to support the efficient staffing and management of crew members while ensuring compliance with industry standards and operational requirements. Key Responsibilities

Schedule and assign crew members to vessels based on operational needs and qualifications. Maintain accurate records of crew certifications, licenses, and availability. Monitor compliance with safety, training, and regulatory requirements. Support crew onboarding and documentation. Communicate assignments and updates to crew members. Assist with resolving scheduling and crew-related issues. Coordinate crewing activities with internal teams.

Requirements

Degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in crewing operations. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of maritime industry standards and regulations is an advantage. Experience with crewing software or databases is an added advantage.
