Demand planning analyst

This is an international producer of frozen products for private labels. From Heuvelland and various production sites, the organization operates in a dynamic environment where growth, investments, and continuous improvement are central. To further strengthen the supply chain, we are looking for a Demand Planning Analyst who not only analyzes figures but also knows how to translate them into concrete insights and reliable forecasts.

Job description

As a Demand Planning Analyst, you form an important link between Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain. You analyze future demand and ensure that the organization can respond to it in a timely and well-founded manner. You are responsible for, among other things:

• Analyzing and managing demand and forecast data
• Translating historical data, market developments, and commercial insights into reliable Demand Plans
• Coordinating the monthly Pre-Demand Management Review together with Sales and Marketing
• Following up and reporting on Demand Planning KPIs and metrics
• Analyzing forecast deviations and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Supporting the determination and follow-up of safety stocks
• Helping to monitor customer service levels and product availability
• Supporting product allocations when available supply is limited
• Following up on issues within the S&OP process
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to better align demand and available capacity
• Contributing to the further improvement and professionalization of demand management and planning processes

Must haves

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of thinking
• At least 3 years of relevant experience within demand planning, forecasting, supply chain planning, or a similar role
• Good knowledge of forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with SAP
• Fluent knowledge of English and French
• You work independently, accurately, and are deadline-oriented
• You communicate smoothly with various stakeholders

Nice to haves

• Experience with S&OP
• Experience with specific demand planning or forecasting software
• APICS certification
• Good knowledge of Dutch
• Experience within FMCG or a manufacturing environment
