Engineer Technical Product Support (m/f/d)

Do you have sound experience in the field of vehicle electrical systems and want to solve technical challenges on an international level? Then an exciting position awaits you at a globally successful automotive manufacturer that stands for quality, innovation, and modern vehicle technologies. In an international environment, you will make a decisive contribution to the market launch of new vehicle models and support dealers and national subsidiaries with complex technical issues. Your Tasks

• Independent processing of complex technical issues in the field of vehicle electrical systems and support in reducing the international PQI-Backlog (Product Quality Information)
• Analysis, diagnosis, and solution of demanding technical problems on modern vehicles with a focus on Electrical Systems
• Technical support for dealers, sales companies, and internal specialist departments regarding repairs and error analyses
• Evaluation of vehicle data (including CAN and log data) for root cause analysis and quality improvement
• Close cooperation with international teams as well as the corporate headquarters in investigating technical problems
• Support with vehicle tests as well as occasional technical assignments on-site
• Continuous improvement of product quality through the analysis of field data and the derivation of suitable measures
• Ensuring high customer satisfaction through sustainable and reliable problem solutions

Your Profile

• Successfully completed studies in engineering sciences or a comparable technical qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the technical environment of the automotive industry
• Very good knowledge in the field of vehicle electrical systems, vehicle diagnosis, and handling CAN and log data
• Experience with modern vehicle systems such as ADAS or restraint systems is desirable
• Strong analytical skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Enjoyment of working in international and intercultural teams
• Resilience as well as the ability to maintain an overview even in dynamic project phases
• Very good English skills in speaking and writing; other foreign languages are an advantage
