For our customer, an established and publicly listed energy company, we are currently looking for a Central Energy Assets Business Controller (m/f/d) at the Düsseldorf location.

Central Energy Assets Business Controller (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Merging and consolidating financial data in the area of Financial Planning Reporting
• Creation of sound commentaries as well as preparation of figures for performance dialogues
• Development of clear management stories based on financial key figures ("Storytelling")
• Analysis of both the cost and Capex side as well as the revenue side
• Preparation and creation of presentations for internal stakeholders and management rounds
• Close cooperation with Business Controllers in the power plants as well as other stakeholders in complex structures
• Support in the digitalization of reports and in the roll-out of central initiatives in controlling
• Participation in central reporting and planning processes at the group level

Your profile:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in a group environment
• Sound IFRS knowledge
• Experience in Financial Planning Reporting as well as in working with consolidated financial data
• Knowledge of Tagetik is an advantage
• Very good English skills in speaking and writing
• Strong communication skills and the ability to prepare complex content in an understandable way
• Structured, analytical way of thinking
• Enjoyment of stakeholder management and working in international teams
