Head of Quality Assurance

Your area of responsibility

• Functional and disciplinary leadership of a 5-member team "Supplier Quality und Labor" in the field of Quality Management
• Overall responsibility for Supplier Quality Management
• Planning, execution, and follow-up of supplier audits, especially in escalation cases
• Control and monitoring of supplier complaints as well as active participation in root cause analysis (8D Reporting)
• Coordination and tracking of error analyses as well as continuous improvement processes (KVP)
• Evaluation and development of suppliers in close cooperation with internal interfaces
• Preparation of usage decisions for defective parts as well as initiation of appropriate measures
• Responsibility for release processes (e.g., initial and series releases of purchased parts)
• Responsibility for the execution and documentation of series and development-accompanying tests (according to PLP, PEP, PPE, EMPB, etc.)
• Coordination with adjacent areas such as Development, Production, and Purchasing
• Ensuring compliance with and documentation of quality-relevant processes

Your profile

• Completed technical education (University, FH, HTL) or comparable qualification in the field of Quality Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Technology
• Experience in Quality Management in the field of Supplier Quality
• Experience in conducting supplier audits (Auditor training)
• Willingness to travel required (approx. 15%)
• Leadership experience as well as strong communication and assertiveness skills
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented way of working
• Business fluent English skills in speaking and writing are mandatory!

Working hours

Full-time 38.50 hours/week

Remuneration

A monthly gross salary starting from EUR 4,500 is provided for this position. Depending on qualification and experience, there is a willingness to significantly overpay.
