Logistics Coordinator for global operations in Halmstad

At Albany International in Halmstad, you will have an important role in the coordination of international sea and road transports. You will follow transport flows from planning to delivery and collaborate with both internal teams as well as freight forwarders, shipping lines, and warehouses.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Logistics Coordinator, you are responsible for international sea transports and European road transports for Albany's operations in Sweden as well as the company's central distribution hub in the Netherlands. The role is suitable for you who enjoys planning, administration, and coordination and thrives with many points of contact. You will work closely with both internal functions and external logistics partners to create efficient transport flows and solve the challenges that may arise along the way.
Your main tasks:
- Coordinate and follow up on international sea and road transports
- Ensure the availability of goods and plan transport capacity
- Plan, place, and follow up on transport orders
- Maintain ongoing contact with freight forwarders, shipping lines, warehouses, and internal teams
- Handle freight, export, and packing documentation in SAP
- Work proactively with deviations and contribute to efficient logistics processes
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for you who have a great interest in logistics, transport, and international goods flows. You like to create structure, keep several parallel tasks together, and collaborate with different people and functions.
We would prefer that you have:
- YH- or university education within logistics, Supply Chain, transport, international trade, or similar
- Basic knowledge of logistics, transport, material flows, and Incoterms
- Good system and computer proficiency
- Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
If you have experience in sea freight, road transport, transport planning, SAP, or international transport documentation, it is a merit – but not a requirement. As a person, you are structured, meticulous, and solution-oriented. You like to take initiative, keep track of details, and thrive in a role where service and collaboration are a natural part of everyday life.
