Job Link, a recruitment agency specializing in CDD/CDI and temporary staffing, is recruiting for one of its clients specializing in international transport, based in the Lyon region, a Departure Department Manager M/F.

Your tasks

The Department Manager leads the department to ensure performance and profitability, manages teams, optimizes purchasing and partnerships, while guaranteeing quality, compliance, and billing follow-up.

More specifically

• Ensure the organization and smooth running of the department
• Ensure the profitability of groupage and chartering activities
• Department leadership
• Management of leave and replacements - Skill development of teams
• Communicate with various managers as part of a continuous improvement search
• Optimization and Negotiation of purchases
• Mastery and management of partner agreements
• Qualitative follow-up of partners and suppliers
• Ensure compliance of partner rates
• Monitoring
• Billing of groupage and files

Requirements

Ideally holding a degree in transport, you have at least 5 years of experience in international road transport.

You have already managed teams and you possess fluent English and, ideally, you master another language.

You have a good command of IT tools and very good ease in customer relations.

What we offer

Remuneration: 40-45kEUR

The position is a CDI to be filled immediately.
