Transit Department Manager (M/F)

Job Description:

Job Link, a recruitment agency specializing in CDD/CDI and temporary staffing, is recruiting for one of its clients specializing in international transport, based in the Lyon region, a Departure Department Manager M/F.

The position is a CDI to be filled immediately.

The Department Manager leads the department to ensure performance and profitability, manages teams, optimizes purchasing and partnerships, while guaranteeing quality, compliance, and billing follow-up.

More specifically: Ensuring the organization and smooth running of the department; Ensuring the profitability of groupage and chartering activities; Department animation; Managing leave and replacements - Upskilling teams; Communicating with various managers as part of a continuous improvement search; Optimization and Negotiation of purchases; Mastery and animation of partner agreements; Qualitative follow-up of partners and suppliers; Ensuring compliance of partner rates; Monitoring; Billing of groupages and files.

Remuneration: 40-45kEUR

Profile Description:

Ideally holding a degree in transport, you have at least 5 years of experience in international road transport.

You have already managed teams and you possess fluent English and, ideally, you master another language.

You have a good command of IT tools and very good ease in customer relations.
