Senior Category Manager - Commercial Role in the Home Design World

A leading and successful company in the home design field is looking for a Ceramics Category Manager for a central, commercial, and diverse role. An independent and significant hands-on role including end-to-end responsibility for the category, working with suppliers in Israel and abroad, managing commercial relationships, product selection, sales and inventory analysis, professional support to branches, and leading the category in accordance with the company's business needs. Working alongside the Commercial Director in the company's commercial department.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-end management and development of the ceramics category.
• Routine work with suppliers and agents in Israel and abroad and building long-term commercial relationships.
• Providing professional responses and support to sales teams, branches, and professional departments.
• Conducting training and implementing professional knowledge among branch teams.
• Working in routine interfaces with the commercial, procurement, sales, displays, and projects departments.
• A combination of office work and routine presence in branches and the field.
• Participation in international exhibitions, factory visits, and meetings with suppliers abroad.
• Monitoring trends, innovations, and professional developments in the ceramics and home design field.

Job Requirements:

• Relevant Bachelor's degree - Business Administration, Procurement/Logistics, or a similar field – a significant advantage.
• Previous experience in the ceramics and home design fields – a significant advantage.
• Experience in procurement, commerce, category management, or working with suppliers – mandatory.
• Experience working with suppliers in Israel and abroad – an advantage.
• Commercial ability and understanding of sales processes, inventory, and performance analysis.
• Very high level of English – speaking and writing.
• High proficiency in Office, with an emphasis on Excel and the ability to work with and analyze data.
• Analytical ability, business thinking, and the ability to draw conclusions from data.
• High learning ability, professional curiosity, and an investigative and independent approach.
• High ability in negotiation and building long-term relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of interfaces.
• Willingness to travel abroad several times a year.
• Ability to work independently alongside cooperation with many parties in the organization.
