Accounts Payable Manager, Leading Consumer Goods Company

A leading food and toiletries company is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to join a professional and high-quality accounting team. The role includes responsibility for the inventory and service suppliers field, working with suppliers in Israel and abroad, handling complex accounting processes, performing reconciliations and controls, working with interfaces within the organization, and preparing materials for audits.

Responsibilities

• Routine and full handling of inventory and service suppliers
• Receiving tax invoices, delivery notes, and supplier billings
• Performing supplier reconciliations and monitoring payments
• Handling payments, issuing checks, bank transfers, and Masav
• Analyzing ledgers and journal entries
• Handling VAT and withholding tax
• Routine work with suppliers abroad and professional conduct in English
• Handling provisions, credit cards, debt aging, and data cleansing
• Handling fixed asset cycles
• Performing expense controls and monitoring data integrity
• Handling consolidated reports to authorities
• Supporting and monitoring cash flow
• Working with the purchasing department and supporting local and international purchasing processes
• Preparing materials for auditor review
• Routine work in Priority and line systems

Scope:

Full-time, Sun–Thu

Working Hours:

8.5 hours per day (flexible*)

Work Model:

Office-based, 5 days a week – no hybrid model

• Accounting certificate Type 1+2 / Type 3 – Mandatory
• At least 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Payable – Mandatory
• Experience in full-cycle accounting up to balance sheet – significant advantage
• Previous experience in a retail company – advantage
• Very high level of English – Mandatory
• Experience in routine work with suppliers abroad – Mandatory
• Experience working with Priority – advantage
• Good command of Excel, including working with complex functions – advantage
• High ability in analyzing ledgers and journal entries
• Familiarity with VAT, withholding tax, provisions, credit cards, and fixed assets
• Ability to handle complex accounting processes and multitasking
• Ability to work independently, responsibility, initiative, and "big picture" thinking
• Order, organization, precision, and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Service orientation, good interpersonal communication, and ability to work in a team
