Singapore Changi Area Precision Company - Quality Assurance Engineer / QA Engineer (Semiconductor Precision Engineering)

Working Hours 5-Day Work Week (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

Salary & Allowances Monthly Salary: SGD 3,500 – SGD 5,000 (Commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (ISO 9001, with exposure to semiconductor industry standards).

Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for customer complaints regarding high-precision semiconductor components.

Handle customer quality audits, Failure Analysis (FA) reports, and technical inquiries from semiconductor equipment makers or Tier-1 clients.

Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics (e.g., critical-to-quality yield, surface finish compliance, cleanroom packaging quality) to drive continuous improvement.

Conduct internal quality audits and provide training on strict semiconductor drawing specifications to production staff.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams on New Product Introduction (NPI) quality planning for high-end semiconductor machining parts.

Ensure full compliance with international quality standards and workplace safety regulations.

Requirements Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, or a related discipline.

Minimum 2 to 3 years of QA experience in a precision engineering or CNC machining manufacturing environment, preferably within the semiconductor supply chain .

Proficient in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis).

Familiar with strict geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and surface roughness requirements typical in semiconductor parts.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking counterparts and regional teams.

Good attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a cross-functional team.
