Field Service Engineer – Industrial Machines

About the company

For a technical company specializing in advanced industrial machines, we are looking for a Field Service Engineer with a strong interest in electricity, mechanics, and software.

Your tasks

As a Field Service Engineer, you are responsible for the installation, startup, maintenance, and repair of machines at customer sites throughout Belgium. You combine technical knowledge with problem-solving skills and customer contact.

After thorough product training, you will go out independently to provide technical support to customers and ensure that their machines function optimally.

Requirements

• You possess a bachelor's degree in electromechanics, electricity, automation, or a similar technical field.
• You have a good knowledge of electricity and mechanics.
• You have an interest in software, machine controls, and technical applications.
• You have an analytical mindset and can independently detect and solve technical problems.
• You work accurately, independently, and in a customer-oriented manner.
• You possess a good knowledge of French AND English, both to understand technical information and to communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.
• You possess a driving license B and are willing to travel throughout Belgium.
• Experience in a technical field service role is a plus, but a strong technical foundation and eagerness to learn are at least as important.
