SALES ENGINEER
Job Summary
Support the Sales Manager in driving sales and marketing efforts locally and overseas. Coordinate cross-departmental collaboration, manage daily operations, prepare client presentations and agreements, and engage with shipyards to support project development and procurement activities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies for local and international markets, including regular overseas travel to meet clients and partners
- Coordinate effectively with all company departments to ensure smooth execution of contracts and projects
- Support the Sales Manager in decision-making processes and oversee daily company operations to maintain efficient workflows
- Prepare detailed overseas travel itineraries and coordinate meeting arrangements with relevant contacts
- Monitor branch office operations to ensure smooth functioning and provide routine reports to headquarters
- Develop presentation materials such as PowerPoint slides, company brochures, and project references for client meetings
- Draft and generate commercial and technical agreements for client engagements
- Assist in procurement activities by researching suppliers, negotiating purchase and delivery terms, and supporting purchasing decisions for equipment and materials
- Interpret General Arrangement (GA) drawings to prepare material cost lists, quotations, technical specifications, and tender documents, and respond to customer inquiries accordingly
- Conduct frequent visits to local shipyards to gather information on new and ongoing projects and foster strong relationships between the shipyards and the company
- Support additional marketing-related tasks as assigned by management
