Your tasks
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end installation and commissioning processes for specialized electrical, plumbing, or ventilation systems.
- Draft detailed method statements and technical work procedures to ensure compliance with industry safety standards.
- Monitor site progress against project schedules to ensure all installations meet the required handover deadlines.
- Coordinate closely with external vendors and material suppliers to guarantee the timely delivery of resources.
- Evaluate progress claims from subcontractors to ensure all work performed aligns with agreed project budgets.
- Analyze project costs and perform accurate estimation for electrical, mechanical, or sanitary system components.
- Prepare comprehensive construction drawings to guide the site installation team throughout the project lifecycle.
- Attend regular site meetings to resolve technical issues and maintain quality control during construction.
Requirements
Job Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or a closely related engineering discipline.
- At least five years of professional experience in M&E construction or project engineering roles.
- Strong technical knowledge in designing and installing electrical, ACMV, or gas and sanitary systems.
- Proven ability to manage tender costing, financial evaluation, and detailed cost analysis tasks.
- Excellent communication skills to manage effective working relationships with diverse project stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and maintain high standards in a fast-paced construction environment.
