Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers. Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to prevent accidents or contamination. Conduct routine custodial tasks including dusting, trash removal, window cleaning, and sanitation of high-touch surfaces. Maintain facilities by performing light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or minor repairs as needed. Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and manual handling activities to prevent injuries and ensure safe work practices. Operate cleaning equipment efficiently while adhering to proper usage guidelines for optimal results. Support industrial or commercial cleaning projects by applying specialized techniques for floor care and sanitation. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and the safe handling of chemical agents. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely while following established safety practices. Experience operating cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and vacuum cleaners. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness standards. Good communication skills with a customer service-oriented attitude when interacting with staff or visitors.
