Your tasks
Task As a Commissioning Specialist, you will work on technically demanding building automation projects together with our experienced experts. You will participate in large-scale projects (e.g., data centers), where the successful commissioning of building automation is critical to the operation of the entire site.
Your task is to ensure that the designed automation solutions also work in practice. You will interpret plans and assess their feasibility, participate in commissioning testing, and monitor that systems and devices function correctly. You are responsible for preparing the necessary documentation and ensuring that the commissioning process progresses according to agreed requirements and schedules.
You will work closely with system experts, automation installers, and the rest of the project team.
Requirements
Are you a building automation professional with field experience, and would you like to go even deeper into the commissioning of demanding projects?
About you You have an Engineer/DI-level education in automation, electrical, or another suitable technical field, as well as practical experience in building automation projects. We particularly value field experience gained from building automation commissioning and project implementation.
You know how to read and interpret technical plans and can assess whether the designed solution works in practice. You identify potential problems in implementation or commissioning and solve them proactively.
You communicate daily with other project members, so we expect excellent written and oral communication skills from you. You dare to present your own technical views and are able to communicate matters clearly even in challenging situations.
The working language of projects is often English, so you need fluent English skills for the task. JIS's internal working language is Finnish.
