Bakery Shop Assistant

Salt Bakes | Singapore Salt Bakes is looking for a friendly and reliable Shop Assistant to help create a welcoming experience for our customers and keep daily shop operations running smoothly. What you’ll do Welcome customers, answer questions and recommend bakery products. Take orders and process payments accurately. Pack and present baked goods neatly, checking product labels and orders. Refill displays and keep products looking fresh and appealing. Keep the counter, display area and shop clean and organised. Assist with opening and closing duties, restocking and stock counts. Follow food-safety, hygiene and cash-handling procedures. Work with the team to support promotions and busy periods. What we’re looking for Friendly, helpful and comfortable speaking with customers. Reliable, punctual and attentive to detail. Able to work well in a team and stay calm during busy periods. Comfortable standing for extended periods and handling light lifting. Retail, café or food-service experience is an advantage; training can be provided. Able to work [full-time/part-time] and [weekends/public holidays, if required].
