JHE & Partners are delighted to be working with a genuinely exciting business based in Skipton as they look to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to join their finance team on a full time, permanent basis (hybrid available).

Your tasks

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the finance team with key responsibilities including:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts pack, working closely with the FC
• Balance sheet, P&L, cashflow and variance analysis against budget
• Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Managing two members of the finance team overseeing AP, banking etc.
• Assist with year end reporting, external audit etc.
• Improve financial controls, whilst identifying opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency
• Be involved in a variety of projects across the business

Requirements

About you....

• Professional accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
• Applicants must have advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUPS, SUMIFS and Pivot Tables)
• A desire to improve systems and processes
• The ability to communicate with stakeholders across the business is essential
