Senior Tax Litigation Lawyer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Litigation Lawyer to join our leading multi-office law firm in Dubai. The successful candidate will bring over 7 years of expertise in tax litigation, offering strategic advice and representing clients in complex tax disputes. Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal advice on tax litigation matters to clients across various industries.
• Represent clients in tax disputes, negotiations, audits, and appeals before relevant authorities and courts.
• Draft and review legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence related to tax litigation cases.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to develop effective strategies for tax dispute resolution.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in tax law and related regulations within the UAE and internationally.
• Lead and mentor junior lawyers and support staff within the tax litigation team.
• Maintain strong client relationships by delivering high-quality legal services and timely communication.
• Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in tax litigation, preferably within the UAE or Middle East region.
• Law degree from a recognized university and admission to practice as a lawyer in relevant jurisdictions.
• Deep understanding of UAE tax laws, regulations, and relevant judicial processes.
• Exceptional analytical and negotiation skills with the ability to manage complex litigation cases effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, colleagues, and regulatory authorities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cases independently and contribute to the growth of the legal practice.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
