Employee Testing Optical Systems (m/f/d)

• Working hours: 37 hours per week
• Salary range: 49,000 – 57,000 Euro per year

Your tasks:

• Testing of optical systems within the framework of small-series production
• Execution and evaluation of testing routines using existing testing software (e.g., MATLAB)
• Transfer of testing processes from prototyping to series production in close cooperation with the Development and Technology departments
• Further development and adaptation of special testing devices for prototyping and series production
• Continuous optimization and further development of existing testing processes
• Recording, management, and traceable documentation of testing results and existing testing technology

Your profile:

• You possess one of the following qualifications: completed training as a Feinoptiker, Physiklaborant, Augenoptiker, or Feinwerkmechaniker, degree as a staatlich geprüfter Techniker, or a Bachelor's degree in the field of Laser- und Optotechnologien, Augenoptik/Optometrie, or a comparable qualification
• Confident handling of precision optical components as well as experience in the application of suitable testing methods for optical systems
• Experience in the assembly, adjustment, and handling of precision optical and mechanical components and assemblies
• Knowledge in the testing, evaluation, and quality assessment of optical components
• Careful, precise, and conscientious way of working
• Independence, teamwork skills, and high flexibility
• Experience working under cleanroom conditions
• Good knowledge of the English language
