Materials Tester (m/f/d)

Profile

• Completed training as a Materials Tester (m/f/d) or state-certified technician (m/f/d), e.g., in plastics, metal, or heat treatment technology
• Sound knowledge in materials testing, especially fracture mechanics testing
• Experience with testing machines, measurement data acquisition software, as well as technical drawings and CAD
• Good knowledge of MS Office and English
• Technical understanding as well as an independent, structured, and careful way of working
• Teamwork skills, initiative, and a confident manner in customer contact

Tasks

• Carrying out mechanical and technological materials testing (e.g., tensile and compression tests, bending tests, Charpy impact tests, fatigue tests, etc.)
• Independent assembly and disassembly of testing setups in the laboratory
• Test bench supervision in the entire field of destructive materials testing
• Evaluation, documentation, and processing of test results
• Independent execution of tests according to internal work instructions
• Technical collaboration in the technical implementation of customer inquiries or customer requirements
• Technical communication with customers
• Creation of test protocols
