Quantity Surveyor – Mechanical (Equipment, Piping & Structural)

Your tasks

• Preparequantity take-offs and BOQs for equipment, piping and structural works.
• Preparecost estimates, tender pricing and quotations.
• Reviewdrawings, specifications and contractual scope.
• Conductsite measurements and verify completed work.
• Preparemonthly progress claims and evaluate subcontractor claims.
• Prepareand manage Variation Order claims.
• Obtainand evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations.
• Monitorproject costs, budgets and commercial performance.
• Coordinatewith project, engineering, procurement and construction teams.
• Assistwith final accounts and project commercial close-out.
• Other ad-hoc duties deemed fit and necessary bythe company.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degreein Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Preferably3–5 years' relevant experience in mechanical construction/maintenance.
• Experiencein equipment, piping and structural steel works is preferred.
• Goodknowledge of quantity take-off, estimation, progress claims, VO and costcontrol.
• Ableto work independently and perform site measurements when required.
